Book Your New Year's Eve Entertainment, ASAP

New Year's Eve is quickly approaching. If you are having a public or private event, you should definitely book your entertainment, ASAP. If you are looking for a band, DJ, photo booth rental, marquee letter rentals, cold spark machines (very popular), etc., you need to book today. 

NYE DJ & Entertainment Pricing, Explained

We spoke with Jason Alexander Rubio, of Austin's Best DJs & Photo Booths, and he spoke about pricing, availability, and the huge demand for NYE events in Austin, Texas, and beyond. Jason said: "NYE is so popular, we will get booked on January 1st for the next NYE event by most companies. They know just how much good entertainment matters, so they book ASAP." 

We also asked about pricing and here's what Jason said: "Pricing is definitely going to be more on NYE and most other holidays. You have to remember, the people that are in these businesses are giving up their holidays with their family and friends to work your event. Most people want to get paid well if they're going to do that. Also, don't forget about supply and demand. There is a very limited supply of vendors who will work, so the demand is extremely high! This allows vendors to charge a premium price and get it. We've seen vendors charge 20% more, 50% more, and even 100% more for events and get it. So if you haven't already booked, expect to pay a premium price for premium entertainment." 

NYE Decor & Lighting

Jason mentioned that there was a huge demand for his marquee letters and cold spark machines, even more so than DJs! These days, it's all about the glam of the gram (Instagram). People want Instagram-worth pics and videos. So decor, lighting, and special effects is what people want. Of course, they want a packed dance floor (AKA a good DJ), but they also want everyone to share pics of their experiences, which is where the decor and lighting come into play. 

There are far fewer decor and lighting vendors than DJs, so it may be tough to book them for your NYE event. We wish you the best of luck and hope you have a great NYE 2023 party!
